Almiro is kicking off 2008 with an exhibition of street art by Liverpool's Zap Graffiti Arts group. The exhibition will feature art on large format canvases, as well as work sprayed directly on to the gallery walls, floor and ceiling.
There will be a preview evening on Friday 18th January (6-9pm) with DJs, breakdancers and video art projections. Come and have a beer and meet the artists.
All the art that can be removed without knocking down walls will be for sale throughout the duration of the exhibition. There will also be a prize draw on the night. £4.00 gets you a book of eight tickets.
Zap Graffiti Arts works with schools, youth and the wider community facilitating tailored projects engaging participants in workshops using graffiti as a positive art form across the UK and further afield.
Set up in 1995, They work to the highest standards with a pool of highly experienced tutors and artists. All staff are CRB checked. Each project is given a risk assessment in line with public liabilty insurance.
